Anyway I quit working in restaurants to be a copywriter a few years ago. I’m currently one at Arnold Worldwide in Boston, MA, working on a little bit of this, a little bit of that (Progressive, Sam’s Club, BAGLY, new biz, myself). I love Halloween, Diet Coke, coats, and attention.

Many years ago…
When I was a hostess at a restaurant, an angry customer once called and told me I was a horrible person, then hung up. I fantasized about picking up the phone, calling her back, and saying, “No. YOU.” But I didn’t know how to do that on that phone. So instead, I decided to turn her words into motivation. A daily mantra.
And that’s the power of words; everyday I become a little less horrible than the last.
